About UHS Western Region CBO
The CBO started at Valley Hospital in 1972, it branched out on its own to a business office next to Valley Hospital. Which became three (3) suites, for a small group of customer service representatives/billers and variance personnel. Years later, the consolidation started the end of 1999, with Desert Springs Hospital along with a move to the hospital business location next to Desert Spring Hospital.
With the growth of the Valley and UHS Inc, came along the need for more facilities, Summerlin Hospital, Spring Valley Hospital, and the CBO continued thriving while servicing all the acute care facilities, including one in North Nevada. With the continued growth there was a need to move the CBO.
UHS, INC. continued to grow with more consolidations which in July 2020, included Southern California's acute facilities which was the creation of the UHS Western Region CBO and the motivation for the growth to accommodate our staff at our current location, a 44,000 sq. ft., beautiful office space on Fire Mesa Street in Las Vegas.
Western Region Consolidated Business Office (CBO) provides business office services including billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance, and customer service to our affiliated Universal Health Services facilities. This CBO supports the following UHS facilities/acute hospitals:
