Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity - Per Diem
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment that puts patient care first while also having the opportunity to grown, learn, and advance in your career. This is a per diem position with opportunities to pick up shifts on day (7am - 3:30pm), evening (3pm - 11:30pm), or overnight (11pm - 7:30am) shifts on weekdays or weekends.

Responsibilities
Coordinate all admissions processes and serve as liaison to referral sources, families, payors, physicians, and hospital personnel involved with each admission
Process inquiry and referral calls and respond to request for hospital and program information, assessment, and possible admission
Verify insurance, triage patients, enter calls and admissions in computer and complete all admission paperwork with patient
Effectively communicate with patients, physicians, staff, and referral sources

Qualifications
Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) in state of Massachusetts
- Education: BSN Preferred
- Experience: 2 years of psychiatric experience required. Working knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria, mental status exam, and addiction and recovery field.
